Assembly Technician / Engineering Technician
Salary: basic salary of up to £31,000 (potentially more for the right person)

Assembly Technician / Engineering Technician
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Assembly / Repairs Technician to join a successful medical engineering and manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Aylesbury.
The Assembly Technician will work a 37-hour week and will report directly into the Production Manager. You will be ensuring all of the company products are built correctly, with the use of engineering drawings and instructions, in a timely, and quality-focused manner.
They currently have two positions open; one for an assembly technician, and the other for a repairs technician. You will be required to do assembly with occasional test, fault finding and repairs on their products. The products are a mix of electronics and small rotating mechanisms - experienced in both of these areas would be very helpful.
In terms of requirements for this assembly technician role, they are looking for keen and attentive individuals who are looking to accelerate their learning and skill set. You will need to have good timekeeping skills, a good communicator and of course have a strong engineering and technical background.
The business are open to hearing from individuals who are very experienced, but also love to hear from applicants who have limited experience but a passion for technology, perhaps with some level of technical education.

* Experience working in a manufacturing / production environment
* Technical engineering knowledge or experience
* A formal technical education
* Good electronic, electrical and mechanical engineering skills and experience
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to keep clear, accurate and traceable records for all products dealt with
* Driven and reliable
