Job Description
Meridian are looking for an Assembly Fitter to start work for one of our prestigious clients based in Cheltenham to carry out assembly/testing/painting/packing of products.
The role is on a temporary, ongoing basis and will be working in a well equipped, safe and tidy factory environment with great rates of pay; subsidised canteen; free parking and an early finish on a Friday!
Working hours:
38.75 hours basic week: Monday – Thursday 7.45am - 4.45pm and Friday 7.45am - 12.30pm
The Job:
Assembly, testing and painting of standard product range;
Build and test of product in line with instruction sheets to required quality standard;
operate and set machines in line with instructions;
Shot/bead blast cleaning and basic paint spraying;
Ensure company H&S policy is adhered to raise safety concerns to supervision;
Ensure production quality is maintained at all times.Skills / Experience required:
Experience of working within a production envrionment;
Competent in safe use of PPE and work equipment;
Able to follow work instructions;
Keen eye for detail and a conscientious attitude;
Proactive and flexible approach.Easily commutable from Gloucester, Tewkesbury and surrounding areasBefore You Apply
