Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Warrington, Greater Manchester
Salary/Benefits: £26k - £42k + Training & Benefits
We are recruiting for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor in the North West of England, to join a rapidly growing organisation. You will be servicing a mixed portfolio of predominantly Domestic, Commercial and Public Sector sites. They are seeking an applicant with strong communication skills and excellent industry knowledge, who will bring their expertise to a small team. The company provides the full range of Asbestos services to clients, so there are excellent training opportunities for the successful candidate. Locations of work include: Warrington, Altrincham, Stockport, Manchester, Hyde, Leigh, Ashton-in-Makerfield, St Helens, Wigan, Westhoughton, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, Heywood, Blackburn, Preston, Colne, Burnley, Ormskirk, Southport, Formby, Crosby, Bootle, Prescot, Liverpool, Ellesmere Port, Runcorn, Widnes, Huddersfield, Halifax, Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Qualified with the P402, P403 & P404 (BOHS or RSPH equivalent)
- Must have proven history working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst for a well-established Asbestos firm
- Ideally will have worked for a UKAS accredited outfit
- Strong written ability and IT proficiency
- Working knowledge of UKAS, HSG 264 & HSG 248 guidelines
- Good communication skills
The Role:
- Completing Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Asbestos surveys in accordance with industry standards
- Collecting and bagging ACM samples safely
- Undertaking 4 Stage Clearances
- Carrying out reassurance, leak, personal and background air monitoring
- Travelling throughout the North West of England
- Writing detailed survey and analytical reports
- Observing and maintaining guideline compliance across removals projects
- Providing technical advice to clients based on findings, and following up with recommendations and project updates
