Art Teacher / Art Tutor Vacancy
Strategy Education are working with a specialist school who are recruiting for an Art Teacher or Art Tutor.
The Art Teacher / Art Tutor role will be on a Temp to Perm basis and start as soon as possible.
The Art Teacher / Art Tutor will be working at the school’s Romford and Basildon sites, you will be teaching Art to young people aged 13-16. You will be working alongside the Teaching and Learning Manager and a group of GCSE, Functional Skills and Practical Skills Tutors.
Students are referred to the school’s inclusion programme and are often challenging (academically and/or behaviourally). The successful Art Teacher / Art Tutor will take an active role in helping to equip students with the skills they will require as they transfer to the world of work.
The school are looking for an Art specialist and QTS is not essential for this role.
The successful candidate will be able to build good rapport with children and maintain firm boundaries and behaviour expectations. They will be consistent is their approach and work collaboratively with the rest of the school team and support students as they journey through their education.

* Full time, Monday to Friday
* Teaching KS3 and KS4 Art classes
