Art Teacher – ASAP – £200 - £230 per day (dependent on experience) – PRU – Short term role – Wandsworth

The role – Art Teacher
I am working with a PRU based in Wandsworth that are looking to appoint a new Art Teacher on a short-term basis! In this role you must plan and deliver lessons while monitoring student progress. You will be required to work closely with students and staff members and must be an approachable, efficient and confident person with the ability to de – escalate their behaviour. As an Art Teacher you must have strong curriculum knowledge up to GCSE level and will report to the Head of Department. To be considered for this role you must hold QTS and have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
The school – PRU
This PRU is based in Wandsworth that caters for students aged 11 – 16 years old with challenging behaviour. They aim to provide education to secondary-aged pupils who experience difficulties accessing schooling for several reasons or who are not able to maintain a placement at a mainstream school. It an inclusive school with a strong commitment to supporting the young people to achieve the best possible outcomes regardless of their special educational needs.
