Job Description
Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Executive required to join a global manufacturer of machine tool accessories and precision tools such as tool holders, measuring instruments, shrinking technology and cutting tools as well as other products used in manufacturing and precision engineering.
The Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Executive will be based from home and meet clients across The Midlands and surrounding areas. They will have a background selling into the precision engineering / manufacturing industry including Aerospace, Automotive, Machine Tools, Machining, Defence and more.
The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Executive will ideally have a mechanical engineering qualification or be apprentice trained with experience selling engineering products, CNC machine tools / machining accessories, metrology, CMM's, measuring instruments, shrinking technology, industrial measurement equipment, precision tools, tool holders, cutting tools or similar products used within a CNC / Machining / Manufacturing environment.

Home Based / Remote covering the Midlands and surrounding areas
Role
Based from home, you will travel to meet clients in the Midlands and surrounding areas, managing and developing accounts within the precision engineering / manufacturing industry including Aerospace, Automotive, Machine Tools, Machining, Defence and more
Selling a range of products including machine tools and precision tools such as tool holders, measurement instruments, shrinking technology and cutting tools
Perform machine installations and provide product training for clients
Identify and acquire new market potential
Liaise with the internal and external sales team
Selling to OEM's
Attend exhibitions and trade shows to promote products and services as well as develop new business relationships
Requirements
Prior experience as an Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Executive / Account Manager / Field Sales Engineer / Junior Sales Engineer
A mechanical engineering / Manufacturing sales background selling engineering products, CNC machine tools / machining accessories, metrology, CMM's, measuring instruments, shrinking technology, industrial measurement equipment, precision tools, tool holders, cutting tools or similar products used within a CNC / Machining environment
An engineering qualification or apprentice trained in an engineering discipline will be advantageous
Must have a Full UK Driving License and willingness to travel across The Midlands and surrounding areasBefore You Apply
