Are you an Architectural Designer with a passion for residential design, ready to take the next big step in your career?
Our client, a friendly and well-established family-run architectural practice based in Brentwood, is on the lookout for a talented Architectural Designer -Residential to join their growing team. This is a rare opportunity to step into a role with real autonomy, long-term progression, and involvement across all RIBA stages.
As an Architectural Designer – Residential, you’ll work closely with the Director, leading your own projects from concept to completion. You’ll attend client briefings and site visits, develop detailed design packages, liaise with consultants, and see your ideas come to life, all while growing into a potential leadership role.
The Role:
Attend site visits, client meetings, and surveys
* Create detailed 2D & 3D design packages for planning applications
* Produce and coordinate Building Regs packages
* Manage your own time and projects independently
* Represent the practice at networking events and client meetings
What We’re Looking For:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential architecture
* Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and Planning Policy
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop & InDesign
* Part 1 qualified (or equivalent experience)
* Confident, personable, and driven with strong communication skills
* Full UK driving licence and access to your own car (essential)
