Are you an experienced Approved Mental Health Practitioner?
We have a fantastic Locum Safeguarding EDT AMHP weekend/adhoc opportunity based in the Bury area. EDT are responsible for providing services for Adult Social Care and Children Social Care. The team are currently working from home, staff are required to attend to matters which require visits to complete assessments.

The hours for the role are normally worked on a rota basis, and attracts a period of 9 days off every 3 weeks.
To provide advice, emotional support and practical interventions to people facing crisis situations outside of day time office hours.
To respond to adult safeguarding concerns in accordance with the adult safeguarding procedure.
To undertake assessments under the Mental Health Act, 1983, [as amended 2007].To be considered for the AMHP role:
2-5 years experience of working within a similar social work setting
AMHP qualifications must be up to date to enable you to practice as an AMHP.
Diploma/Degree in Social Work
Social Work England registration
Due to the needs of the service the team are looking for an AMHP who lives around 30-40 mins drive from the Bury/Rochdale area.
