Applications Engineer – Chromatography
Salary: £38k - £45k
Location: Kent

With exclusive partnerships with some of the most well-known OEM’s as well as valued clients consisting of huge pharmaceutical companies across the UK and Europe, this would be a great opportunity for an applications engineer to be in a senior position with broad responsibilities and further OEM training.
In this Applications Engineer position, an engineer can expect:
Management of the lab including ordering consumables & maintaining in-house equipment.
Identify new opportunities & develop applications of their current portfolio of analytical instruments.
Developing applications for their customers, solving challenges and proposing solutions.
Perform hardware and software demonstrations.
Support field engineers with installations and train customers.
Remote customer support.
Contribute to the sales process by performing presentations and presenting applications.
A suitable candidate for this Chromatography service engineer position would need:
A degree in chemistry or similar scientific field.
Strong methodical ability to troubleshoot and problem solve independently.
Good communication skills.
Experience developing applications for Liquid and Gas chromatography (LC, GC).
Experience with industry regulations such as GLP.
Unrestricted UK right to work and full driving license.
