Job Description

MTrec’s new career opportunity Our client are specialists in their market sector, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Air/ Sea Freight Export Administrator to join their team. Candidates are required to hold valid air and sea freight accreditations. The Job you’ll do * Coordinate all Air / Sea Export Freight activities, including quotation, booking, documentation, data entry, shipment tracking and tracing, billing, arranging deliveries, among others responsibilities. * Issue bills and invoice to clients and agent and organize documentations and properly keep all records updated. * Communicate on a daily basis with airlines, vendors, truckers, customers, warehouse contact, sales representatives and overseas offices. * Knowledge of air carriers and schedules. * Advise clients concerning: terms of delivery & payment, Air insurance, Air Services, transport alternatives, etc. * Negotiate and book cargo with shipping lines. * Complete customs clearances, ensuring full compliance to any relevant regulations. * Manage documentation flow. * This includes bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices and certificates of origin and licences. * Ship out of gauge/project cargo. * Work in a small team, covering all aspects of the forwarding process. * Book all sea movement of modes of freight. About You * 2+ years of Air / Sea Freight experience is essential for this role. * Experience dealing with Exports is essential. * Knowledge of customs regulations would be desirable * The ideal candidate will be commercially minded. * Exceptional communication skills are required for this role. * IATA and FTA certified- essential.
