Job Description

Administrator/Stock Controller My client in Letchworth is looking for a new member to join their team. You will be playing a fundamental role in coordinating stock-related activities to enable the smooth operation of their warehouse and distribution processes, while also performing administrative duties to ensure a smooth delivery from warehouse to consumer. Position: Administrator/Stock Controller Type: Permanent Salary: Starting at £23,000, increasing to £25,000 after 3-month probation Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm, 37.5 hours per week Role Overview: The Administrator and Stock Controller manages the movement, processing, and dispatch of goods within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will be speaking with customers daily to update them on their goods and understanding their requirements and liaising with the warehouse for stock. Responsibilities as an Administrator and Stock Controller:   - Manage incoming and outgoing goods using a Warehouse Management System. - Oversee daily processing of over 100 orders from a large SKU inventory. - Communicate with clients to understand and fulfil delivery requirements. - Communicate with Warehouse Manager for intake, picks, rework, and urgent dispatches. - Generate reports on stock movements, batch details, and product "Best before end" dates. - Assist in stock audits and spot checks; produce relevant reports. - Trace product movement for recalls or stock inquiries.
