Southern Ropes is on the lookout for a dedicated Administrative Assistant to support our expanding Rope Supplier company. What You’ll Be Doing:
* Providing efficient and reliable administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Handling customer communications with an excellent telephone manner, responding to enquiries, and directing calls professionally.
* Processing orders efficiently, creating invoices, delivery notes, and booking shipments.
* Monitoring incoming emails, ensuring timely order processing, and directing enquiries for quoting.
* Managing customer enquiries, taking orders, and following up on quotations while maintaining accurate records.
* Utilizing Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) to manage documentation and workflow effectively.
* Experience with Accounting and stock control systems is a plus (training provided if needed!).
* Maintaining strong organizational skills, working independently with a keen eye for detail.
* Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth office operations, assisting when required.
* Managing office and staff kitchen supplies to keep the workplace running efficiently.
* Keeping accurate sales records, quality control documentation, and filing systems up to date.
* Occasionally assisting with light warehouse duties and stock-taking to support the broader team.
* Keeping track of weekly team meetings, taking notes, and circulating updates within the team.
* Office working hours will be from 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
What We’re Looking For:
* A proactive and friendly attitude with a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
* Someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly across different teams.
* Experience in administration, order processing, and customer service is preferred.
* Confidence in using Microsoft Office; additional experience with accounting or stock control systems is a bonus!
