Job role: Accounts Assistant
Hybrid working - 2-3 days office based at present but could revert to full-time office based.
Salary: £25.000p/a - (Depending on experience)
Location: Verdant Edinburgh - EH12 9DQ
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm - 36.25hrs per week.
Menzies Distribution are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Team based in our Edinburgh office.
Accounts Assistant Duties:
•Accurately process supplier invoices on a timely basis (SAP/invoice scanning)
•Process Invoices to Goods Receipts on Purchase Order
•Create and finalise regular payment runs, raise and record manual payment
•Use Excel regularly for supplier summaries, KPIs and month end reporting
•Reconcile monthly the Goods Received Not Invoiced account to General Ledger
•Manage high value Rates payments to avoid late payment fees.
•Manage utility costs invoices to be paid on time with no switch off
•Maintain a list of Direct debit paid accounts, used where business critical/desired
•Administer corporate credit card scheme (leavers, new applications, credit limits)
•Month end reporting of Rates liability notices and all Direct Debit Payments
Requirements:
·Knowledge of invoice processing or equivalent relevant degree. Experience matching invoices to Purchase orders beneficial.
·Knowledge of SAP, OCR processing desirable but not essential.
