About the Accountant role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced accountant to join a family run firm of Chartered Certified Accountants who provide a professional service to sole traders, partnerships and Limited companies. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in practice and a proven track record of delivering high-quality accounting services.
Key Responsibilities of the Accountant:
Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders and limited companies.
Submission of corporation tax returns and personal tax returns.
Processing bookkeeping and VAT returns.
Maintaining regular communication with HMRC, Companies House, and clients.
Provide tax planning strategies in accordance with existing legislation
Create financial forecasts and analyse risk
Experience and skills required for the Accountant:
Significant practice experience is essential.
Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
Level 3 ACCA or CIMA qualification required
