Academic Support Assistant Q - Are you a graduate who aspires to become a fully qualified teacher? Within this role, you will be working alongside knowledgeable Subject Teachers to aid in the student's academic progress. Within this role as an Academic Support Assistant, you will work alongside subject Teachers to discuss and review student progress, creating structured learning resources. You will be working 1:1 and in small groups with students to assist them in their areas of academic weakness, at times tailoring the way you deliver the sessions to suit the needs of SEN students (ASD, ADHD, SP&L etc). If you are an aspiring Teacher then this role is perfect for you, giving you the perfect opportunity to gain valuable in-class and out-of-class experience before going onto your PGCE or Teacher Training.
