Job Description

Job description Hours: 6am or 10:30am starts Pay: £16.43/hour for 6am starts and £16.92/hour for 10:30am starts Corr Recruitment is partnering with a leading home delivery department store chain specializing in home furnishings, accessories, and electronics. We are seeking reliable and motivated 7.5t Drivers to join their team on a Temp-to-Perm or ongoing basis. Key Details: * Location: Enfield * Transport: You must have your own transport to commute to the site * Requirement: Successful completion of an induction is required to secure the role * Saturday Work: Must be available to work at least 2 Saturdays a month Tasks and Duties: * Safely and efficiently deliver packages to customers' homes within the Enfield area. * Communicate with customers regarding estimated delivery times and confirm access details. * Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring goods are handled with care. * Provide excellent customer service, ensuring deliveries are professional and timely. * Maintain accurate delivery records and comply with reporting requirements. * Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations. * Assist with the assembly of furniture in customers’ homes when required. Requirements / Skills: * Valid 7.5t (C1) driving license with CPC and digital tachograph card. * Previous experience in multi-drop or furniture delivery is advantageous. * Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage delivery schedules. * Presentable appearance to represent the company positively. * Strong communication skills with a friendly and professional attitude. * Willingness to comply with random drug and alcohol testing. * Reliable and proactive work ethic with excellent customer service focus.
