Job Description

Are you an experienced 5 Axis CNC Machinist / Programmer with a passion for precision engineering? Do you have a proven track record of using and developing modern CAM programmes to deliver high-quality products? If so, we want to hear from you.   This is your chance to join an innovative, industry-respected, and rapidly growing engineering and manufacturing business operating across multiple sectors.   As a 5 Axis CNC Machinist / Programmer, you will become an integral part of the production team. You will be responsible for assisting in the efficient running of the cell to meet agreed delivery and quality targets, using best practice machining strategies.   Your responsibilities as a 5 Axis CNC Machinist / Programmer: Maintain a thorough understanding of Fanuc programming on 5 axis machines. Develop and utilise modern CAM software, ideally Fusion 360, to enhance machining processes. Run proven programmes, adjust work coordinates, and correct any errors to ensure precision. Operate multiple machines as required to meet production targets. Contribute to and drive improvements within the section to enhance efficiency and quality. Your current experience which will help you as a 5 Axis CNC Machinist / Programmer: Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Extensive experience working with precision components. Demonstrable knowledge and experience using Fanuc. Proficiency in using Fusion 360 or other CAM software.   What you can expect as a 5 Axis CNC Machinist / Programmer: Up to £20 per hour, dependent on experience. (40 hour week) Healthcare cash plan scheme. Company pension.
