General terms and conditions
When placing an order and by clicking on the designated check-box on the website page, the Buyer acknowledges acceptance of the terms and conditions herein.
The Seller will assess the documents to be translated and, if necessary, will request further information from the Buyer by e-mail or telephone in order to translate the documents satisfactorily. If, after careful examination of the documents received, The Seller finds that it is not possible to translate them satisfactorily, he or she reserves the right to cancel the order. In this case, the Buyer will be fully reimbursed.
The advertised price for the translation of a CV applies to a single Curriculum Vitae of not more than 500 words. The advertised price for the translation of a cover letter applies to a single letter of not more than 500 words. The word count is defined as the count obtained from the word count feature of Microsoft Word.
3. Delivery Times
For orders placed outside business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 18:00 p.m. CET (Central European Time) Monday to Friday and excluding French public holidays, the advertised delivery time is calculated as starting from 8:00 a.m. on the following business day.
The Seller will make every effort to respect the advertised delivery times. If, for any reason, a delivery time cannot be met, the Seller will inform the Buyer via e-mail and provide the expected delivery schedule. If the Buyer does not accept the revised delivery schedule, he or she may cancel the order for a full refund.
4. Right to Withdraw
All our translations have a money-back guarantee. As per the legislation in force, the Buyer has a withdrawal right of 15 days starting from the date that VitaCV receives the documents to be translated. If the Buyer is not completely satisfied with the translation service and wishes to obtain a refund, he or she must make a written request stating the exact reasons for this refund request, and send it by registered mail to Avatex, 2 rue du Bon Vin, 57160 Lessy, France.
5. Governing Law
The contract resulting from the acceptance of this order shall be interpreted under and governed by French law.
